Rick Santorum, please. Now Mitt Romney.

Okay are you all fed up with the hypocrisy in politics? First you hear people like Rick Santorum say President Obama is trying to destroy America. When President Obama tries to encourage people to go to college, Mr. Santorum has the balls to say the President is a snob ( that’s like one 400 pound person saying  you are out of shape). Why would someone think a person is a snob when they want others to better themselves? Could it be that Mr. Santorum will have to work harder because he will run into book smart people trying to take whatever job he has? The 1% hates to compete, look at the laws they have passed to make it harder to live the American dream.

Then Mr. Santorum does not like contraception and any law that allows same-sex marriage, and he talks about having a smaller government. Yet he is all for laws like the patriot act and drug testing unemployed people. Those laws right there require more government. I guess people like Mr. Santorum like smaller government when others need government, and he wants larger government when he wants to pass moral laws. He would like less laws for Wall Street , yet he is willing to pass more moral laws to control Americans.

I am very surprised that even 10 people in America would vote for this person. To me he is as scary as the Taliban but he tries to act like and talk like he is Gods right hand man.

You can say that hypocrisy is on the other side of the fence as well. The other side wants more regulation for banks, but less for drugs. They say the are for protection of the environment, yet we are drilling more now in America then we every have in the past.

I guess my point is, if you look at politics today , they are all alike but with different words coming out of their mouth. I guess that’s why Santorum has the definition he has when you do a search of his name.

UPDATED 2/28/2012 ; I just heard Mitt Romney talk. He has said in the past it’s not the government’s job to creat jobs. That it is the economies job, and the market system. Today he said President Obama has done nothing to fix the economy, and that he would creat jobs in America. He can not have it both ways. Now which way is it Mr. Romney? He also said he will restore the Keystone pipeline. If I am correct, that oil will go in the pipeline from Canada onto boats right to China. America gets none of the oil, China has bout it already. He has the people who listen to him thinking the oil is for America. WAKE UP AMERICA!!!!

99% VS. 1%

With this occupy movement going on, you hear people talking about the 1% VS. the 99%. What really is the 1% or 99% anyway ? So many people relate these terms just to money wealth alone. I would add another angle to the terms. To me the term 1% has at least two elements involved, money and the right connections.

If you have X amount of money and can influence a government (local or federal) to pass any kind of law to fit your needs or your companies needs, then you’re in the 1%. If you have X amount of money yet you do not have any connections to have laws passed, then you are not in the 1%. Look at the entertainment and athletic industries for instance. You take the actors/actresses and musicians and athletes. Do they make a good amount of money ? Yes they do. Can they have laws passed to help their own gains ? I think not.

Now let’s take the movie executives and the owners of sports teams. They have great wealth and have connections to have laws passed to help their own gain. They have local governments give them tax breaks to build new facilities when they can pay for it themselves. They have all kinds of tax exempt laws in their favor, or they also get revenue sharing and so on. This also goes for big corporations. They get tax breaks to build in towns or cities, yet they make enough money to pay for it themselves.

Do you get tax breaks to build your home in cities ? No you end up paying more or covering their (1%) tax cuts. Personal wealth does not alone make you the 1%. It’s almost like the ones who do fall into the 1% act like the mafia. They are little chickens who have others do their dirty work. The 1% hitmen are the government officials who pass laws to help them out.

When someone who is in the 1% says , ” don’t blame wall street , blame Washington”. They are right to say that to a point. It was Wall street who puts the pressure on their buddies to pass the laws. It is the spineless people in Washington who cave and have the laws passed. These laws only help Wall street, that is why we are ion the mess we are in. The laws are to discourage competition , because the top brass are punks and are afraid of the mom and pop stores.

All of this in this blog post is my opinion, these are not facts. I promote personal wealth, we all need to live and have chances . The 1% have made both almost impossible any more with the laws .

Have To Say My Piece About The Global Revolution & Occupy .

I have been watching the Global Revolution and Occupy Wall Street for the last few weeks. What I have noticed on LIVE stream and what the T.V. stations are reporting are two polar opposites. What I have learned first hand is the stations on T.V. will out-and-out lie and not even blink twice about it. That to me says they do that so much they think they tell the truth the whole time.

Now on to what I have been thinking about. I hear all of these stories how C.E.O.’s are so smart and know how to run things, yet they seem to have a problem with living off of 1 million a year, so they lay off 20% of the workers to make 3 million a year. If the C.E.O.’s of America are so smart, how come they can not live off of $10.00 an hour like 40% of the work force?

Why is it when America needs to “sacrifice” the C.E.O.’s make cuts on the $10.oo an hour workers and give themselves bonuses ? Yet when we the working poor ( I’m currently a jobless parent ) make a suggestion that they take a pay cut or pay a little more in taxes, we are starting a class warfare ? Or we are engaging in wealth distribution ? Are these ” smart” C.E.O.’s who lay people off so they get bonuses practicing wealth distribution by taking the money that would go to the $10.00 an hour worker and giving it to themselves?

I say this the smartest people and the hardest workers are the ones who make $10.00 an hour, not the top few percent ( you have to know how to survive off of next to nothing). They “claim” to work hard, but most got to the top by who they knew not how hard they worked. They are part of the good ol boys network.

If $10.00 an hour is good enough for the people below the top percent, then it should be good enough for everyone. If a person can not live off of $60,000 a year, then they are not that smart. And like Herman Cain said ” now I don’t have the facts to back this up” but I think 40% of Americans make less than $60,000 a year ( I am mocking Herman Cain).

Slow Your Role.

How many of you out there hear people talking about what they do not have ? Do they act like they are happy or upset that they do not have what they want ? I have noticed that the ones who keep chasing after what they do not have , they are never happy. As soon as they get what they have been wanting, they will turn their head and look in another direction and find something else they want. They then are not happy again.

If you are never satisfied with what you have, you will always be upset. Look at people who have 6 cars or 80 pair of jeans. They seem to have this dislike of themselves deep down inside of them. What about the person who works 12-16 hour days. There are those who are always chasing after that extra client . They are not happy with the business they have ( now if you’re losing business and about to go under, then get those customers ). There are those who have 5 kinds of phones and computers and they are wanting the next great gadget. They act unhappy until they get it ( just for about 5 minutes then they are not happy ).

Teach yourself to be happy with what you have. If you change your behavior, your attitude will follow. Heck I still have the boob tube type of T.V. I am very happy with what I have. I am not worried about what I do not have. I have ripped up furniture. I am happy with what I have, I could have no furniture ( homeless ). I am happy even though I have no job at the moment. It could be worse, I could be 6 feet under.

I had this good friend who use to always say; “you want some, you got none.” That saying falls into this subject. It means you are always chasing after what you do not have , and to be happy with what you got. So be happy with where you are at, not where you wish you were at . Don’t get me wrong goals are good. They give you something to live for. But be happy in the moment you are in right now.

Death Penalty, for it or against it ?

Now this is a touchy subject. The death penalty. Are you for it or against it ? There are those out there who think it is a great deterrent on crime. I may be wrong, but all of the stats I read on it says other wise. State that has the death penalty have higher crime rates than those without it. Think about it they are criminals. If this punishment worked, then there would be no more murders.

How do most of you feel about innocent people being put down ? There are those out there who say ,” well mistakes happen.” I learn from my mistakes and I hate to repeat mistakes. In this case the same mistake has been repeated way to many times.

Most of the people who are for the death penalty are against abortion. They say well a child has done nothing wrong and deserves to live. Well so do the innocent people being charged with a crime they did not commit. These are the same people who say the government needs to cut cost. Do you know it cost more to keep someone on death row then to keep them in prison for life? Well it does with all the appeals and the process it take to put someone down.

Here is a question for those who are for this penalty. If your son , daughter or mom was wrongfully accused of a crime they did not commit, would you want to see then put in the chair and have the lights turned out on their parade? If you say yes, you are a sick ass person. If you say no not this one time because they are family, then you are one big ass hypocrite. Because everyone is someones family. You can not have it both ways !

I for one am against the death penalty. I would rather have 1000 guilty people in prison for life then to have an innocent person put under all because “it’s the law”.

Also Putting someone down will not bring back the dead from the past. But it may have just ended another innocent persons life. When will this crazy circle end?

We are up there with China, Iran, Iraq ( I think ) , North Korea as far as numbers goes with federal death penalties. Do you want to be in that catagory ?

This is the way I look at it and you may have another way at looking at it. I am open minded about other people having thier point of view, are you?

Thanksgiving dinner with the crazy family members.

How many times have you been to a family gathering and you got the family members who drive you crazy ? You know the two uncles who argue that one is smarter or stronger than the other ? Yet they have the same GPA or can lift the same amount of weight , just on different days. Or that uncle who walks in with a twelve pack of beer ? By the fourth beer he is funny ,yet not loud and obnoxious yet. By the eighth beer you want him to shut up because the stuff he says makes no sense . He is very loud and the only one laughing at his jokes , or the only one who answers his own questions .

Everytime I hear a Republican or Democrat talk, they are the exact way like those two uncles who argue as to who is better. Both parties while on T.V. or on the radio sound just the same. They have the same ideas , same complaints of the other party. They both sound like a bunch of babies who can not get their way at the dinner table.

Then you have the Tea Party. They say such crazy wacky things ,they remind me of that drunk uncle who is funny at first then turns into a pain in the neck. When they talk at first you kinda giggle to yourself , but 3 minutes into their talking you hope they get a bug in their throat so they shut up.

We are the people who sits at the kids table ( voters with no voice in the matter ) , and gets to hear all of the loud noise as we try to watch the football game. How come this country has turned into a crazy Thanksgiving Dinner and not a peaceful family get together ?

Next time they are talking , close your eyes and forget the (R), (D) , or (I) behind the name. You will not be able to tell the clowns apart. Maybe that is why the Beltway around Washington D.C. is a circle, they keep chasing each other around the dinner table. They get nothing done but make us kids at the kiddie table ( voters ) mad and not want to finish dinner ( listen to the fools talk).

For you who are the ones who believe what your uncles are saying is true at the dinner , then you are the cousin who goes out back and smokes your weed you have in your back pocket .

Let’s hope we start having a normal Thanksgiving Dinner some time soon. Or most of this country will not be able to eat dinner at all.

GREED KILLS ! It does not matter if you say it in Latin , Greek ,or English. In today’s society it is the major problem with this world. It kills every part of a person’s life, even if they have no greed in their blood , everyone is affected by greed.

What if you and a bunch of friends are lost in the desert and have 1 gallon of water ? You should share it, but someone may be greedy and drink all of the water. Someone is gonna die. It may be the ones who did not drink the water , and die from thirst . Or the one who drank it may be killed by the others out of rage. What about the people who are greedy with food? They eat so much out of greed and they die from obesity . Or others around them die from starvation because no food was shared.

What about the person who runs a company and is all about making as much money as possible ? They will kill jobs ( lay people off or eliminate jobs ) out of greed and make the others who are left work harder for less money. Or what about the store that raises the price of their goods from $40.00 at cost to $180.00 ? Their greed for profit per item will kill traffic through the door , and they may end up being out of business. Greed killed their business.

What about the person who is greedy about time ? They drive down the highway at a high rate of speed to get more done in less time, and end up in a fatal crash. Greed kills !!! What about the person at the bar who is greedy about his drinks ? He ends up drinking himself to death. Greed kills !! What about the man who wants as many ladies in his life ? His greed ends up killing his family life or he ends up with a crazy lady who kills him because he is cheating on her. Greed kills!! That last scenario can go for ladies also.

What about the world leaders who want so much power they start wars to gain control  ? Their greed for control kills the people fighting on the front line.

Greed is killing the world economy , the family life, your own self, and your community. If you want more than what is needed, greed will catch up and get you one way or another.

We all need to be a lot more generous with our time ,our thoughts, our worldly possessions , and with our behavior .

STOP the GREED and spread generosity . You can help make this world a better place.

RELIEF PITCHERS AND HOT STONES

  How many of you are sick and tired of everyone in Washington pointing fingers and blaming everyone around them or before them? If any of them played baseball and was to come in the 8th inning with bases loaded and 1 out, would they pitch out of the situation? I don’t think they got the mind set to man up and finish the baseball game. They would stand on the mound look at what they walked into and complain to the coach that if the starting pitcher had done his job they would not have bases loaded and a tied up ball game.    America needs some good relief pitchers right now. We are in the 8th inning with bases loaded and the clean up hitter (debt and spending issue ) is at bat . Right now the stadium ( American people) is booing as loud as we can at the players in the game, because the game sucks real bad ( and the pitching is even worse ). All of this talk on T.V. with the complaining and finger pointing is sick. I do not recall a Cy young pitcher after a lost game or a  hall of fame reliever saying it was not their fault for losing. They man up and take responsibility , SO SHOULD YOU WASHINGTON.

Now on to my hot stones. I was talking to my grandmother the other day and she had a neat story. She is in her 90′s and she was saying how this world has changed. She told a story of how as a child she kept warm at night by having hot stones in her bed wrapped up to keep her warm. And I said to her that things was more simple back then with less stress. Now a days we keep warm with space heaters made in other countries. I think all Americans need to start using stones to keep warm again. They don’t kill people by burning down the house like these faulty space heaters ( not made in America ). But they will kill the GREED of the C.E.O.’s who exported American jobs , and they will kill the jobs of the other countries who build those faulty space heaters.No stones in my yard took away any American jobs , nor will they make any C.E.O. rich. Let’s go back to more simpler times without all these gadgets ( not made in AMERICA). Heck if my grandmother in her 90′s or your grand parents did so can we. We need to prove a point and boycot companies that sent American jobs out of this country. So grab your stones and yell I ain’t gonna take it anymore ( while you watch the relief pitchers get us out of this jam).

HYPOCRITE !! WHAT COMES TO YOUR MIND????

  When I put this word up, what is the first person or group of people that comes to your mind? For me , it is the group of “leaders” that are turning this great country of ours into a BUTTERFACE NATION ( previous blog ), and they are waiting until later ( previous blog ) to fix this mess. The “leaders” in Washington D.C. tell us we need to make sacrifices. WE ARE, they are not.   They are playing with the worlds future thinking it will hurt the other party for their gain . It’s all about them and no one else. I am not going to use this blog as a rip into any one party . ALL of them KIDS in Washington D.C. are at fault. They want to cut Social Security , Medicare, Medicaid, and tell us we need to plan for our own retirement ( 401K ). Yet they have a pension paid in full by us with our taxes ( it is not a 401K ). It is a rich mans welfare check ( and yet there are people out here who talk down about welfare, when it is for the poor ). They want us to pay for our own health care , yet they have free care PAID for by us. They tell us to pay our taxes, yet there are some who have not paid taxes and only got a write up. WE would go to prison.They talk about global warming, yet you read about some of them having utility bills as high as $5,000 a month ( and drive or be driven in huge cars owned by the government paid for by our taxes ). They want to get rid of Freddie and Fannie yet some of them used that very loan system to buy $500,000 homes before they was against it. They want to get rid of farm subsidies, yet there are some who have made $150,000 off of that program. They want to cut Federal Grants for College kids, yet they themselves used those very grants to get where they are today. There are some who says Washington needs to pay their bills and stop spending like crazy, yet there are “leaders” in Washington right now getting sued for back child support in excess of $140,000. There are some who want to raise retirement age, yet they can not even work a full week without taking a vacation for 2 weeks.There are some who want to get rid of Medicare and Medicaid, yet they have family members who have made millions off of those good programs before they was against it. Washington tells us to pay off our credit card bills. Are they ?? We are told to take care of business. Are they??? We are told to make sacrafices !! Are they?? How many of them have been in the military ?? Yet some want to cut spending on that. Do they not understand how the rest of the world works?? Oh I forgot. There are those who are for “family values” and against the gay life style. Then they go home and cheat on their spouses or have a gay partner.

I was watching TMZ the other day, and they brought up an interesting therory. They was talking about how if you don’t want to do a job and you are asked to do it, mess up on purpose and act like you have no idea what you are doing. That sounds like what the ” leaders” of our great country are doing right at this minute. I think they are doing all of this double talk on camera to bring labor and the work force so far down, that we AMERICANS are so desperate for work and money that we will work for pennies on the dollar. They may be laughing on their $ 500 wine behind doors while eating pizza talking about how to make eachother look bad. That way we on the outside have no idea what is going on.
