These are the three major factors that drive some people and businesses in America today. Look around and see how people,companies,and the media acts and talks. If you hear people talk and what they say or don’t say, they will have one of these 3 if not all 3 of these traits ( not all Americans, just the ones who have an empty soul ).
Take for instance the wars we get ourselves into. The only one that I see justified is Afghanistan. We should be out of there now ( we did our mission ). The Iraq war was started off of President Bushes fear and paranoia and the Military industrial complex’s greed. Now look at Syria. Yes I feel sorry for the people over there, but we have no reason to go there. I feel the Military industrial complex is pushing for a war there. It’s about their profits. It has nothing to do with Americas safety or freedoms. We need to stop making excuses for bombing other countries. What if another country helped the south during our civil war? Let the other countries fight it out on their own.
Now look at the gun industry. They push fear into so many folks and that drives up gun sales. They want high crime because that will drive up gun sales among the fearful, paranoid people in America. If you do not believe me, look at the amount of guns and ammunition being sold today. I am not against guns, I am against companies feeding fear into already paranoid people all for their corporate greed.
Look at politics and the workplace. You will see people acting paranoid and fearful by their actions or lack of actions and words. We should not be living like this. We need to get back to simple basics and stop worrying about what others can or will do to us. Put religion into your life and you will be at peace with yourself.
A few weeks ago I was having a discussion about running a business with an older gentleman. He sounded like he knew what he was talking about, so I was asking questions. His response was,” I can’t tell you everything, because that will allow you to go make money for yourself”. Now does that sound like he has all 3 traits? I would say yes. What’s he afraid of? What’s he paranoid about? And why does he have so much greed , that he does not want to see others make money?
If you watch the reality show Big Brother, you will see all 3 of these traits and it’s very sad and sick at the same time. There is paranoia, fear, and greed in about 90% of the players on that show. Why are all 3 traits running wild in our society? Look around you and see if you can change anything about yourself, then work on others.
We need to calm down and get back to the simpler things in life.
